Nas Aparições do Anjo da Paz que ocorreram em 1916, em Fátima, os 3 Pastorzinhos (Lúcia, Francisco e Jacinta) ouviram pedidos do Anjo de reparação e desagravo. A segunda Aparição deveu ser provavelmente em julho, em que os 3 Pastorzinhos iam com (os) rebanhos para casa, no meio da manhã, para torna-los a soltar só à tardinha. Foram, pois passar as horas da sesta (depois do almoço) à sombra das árvores que cercavam o poço no quintal de Lúcia. De repente, viram o mesmo Anjo junto deles. – Que fazeis? Orai! Orai muito! Os Corações de Jesus e Maria têm sobre vós desígnios de misericórdia. Oferecei constantemente ao Altíssimo orações e sacrifícios. – Como nos havemos de sacrificar? – perguntou Lúcia. – De tudo que puderdes, oferecei um sacrifício em ato de reparação pelos pecados com que Ele é ofendido e de súplica pela conversão dos pecadores. Atraí, assim, sobre a vossa Pátria, a paz. Eu sou o Anjo da sua guarda, o Anjo de Portugal. Sobretudo, aceitai e suportai com submissão o sofrimento que o Senhor vos enviar.

In the Apparitions of the Angel of Peace that took place in 1916, in Fatima, the 3 Little Shepherds (Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta) heard the Angel's requests for reparation and redress. The second apparition was probably in July, when the 3 Little Shepherds went home with their flocks, in the middle of the morning, to release them only in the evening. So they went to spend the siesta hours (after lunch) in the shade of the trees that surrounded the well in Lucia's yard. Suddenly, they saw the same Angel with them. - What are you doing? Pray! Pray a lot! The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy upon you. Constantly offer the Most High prayers and sacrifices. - How shall we sacrifice? Asked Lucia. - Of all that you can, offer a sacrifice in an act of reparation for the sins with which He is offended and of supplication for the conversion of sinners. In this way, bring peace to your country. I am your Guardian Angel, the Angel of Portugal. Above all, accept and bear with submission the suffering that the Lord sends you.
